Nowadays, since I'm done school and working full time, we usually take people out to eat. To be honest, it's somewhat simpler - there is no worrying about telling the waiter to separate the meal tickets or tipping or anything. We just cover it all and count it a blessing to even be able to do that. We aren't doing it every weekend or anything, just every now and again, but to me it keeps things a little more straightforward and people know ahead of time that they won't have to pay.

The only thing that gets to me is when people ask me out to eat, then kind of hold back when the meal ticket arrives, waiting/hoping that you'll pick it up and they won't have to pay. Argh! That's people just using me.
