I wonder if this will stomp the iphone and force AT&T to actually practice customer service instead of buying exclusive agreements with new toys, or maybe they will try to buy exclusive deals with all android mfgrs?

I work with T-Mobile...Android has so much potential. The iPhone is nice...but the Android OS will offer so much versatility...well, does offer. Wait til the new Motorola Clique is released...that phone is gonna be absolutely spectacular!
It'll compel Apple to make their software available on all PC-type platforms, then upping the ante by forcing Google's OS out sooner.
It won't alter Steve Jobs' Reality Distortion Field.
I've not had an issue with AT&T. . . there again, I don't have an iPhone.

The HTC Hero for Sprint is going on sale this Sunday. You can get it now from Best Buy if you are a Reward Zone member though. I have the Palm Pre right now and like it a lot but I am pretty curious about the Hero. It is, according to phonedog.com, the best android phone available right now.

Its not just about technology or how much horsepower is under the skin...to some of us iphone users, its all about user interface. What drew me to the iphone wasn't the hype, or how powerful it was (I never considered it a powerhouse). In fact, I had zero interest in it, until I played with one.
This was the first phone where I knew how to use it with ease. No menus with submenus and so on. No learning curve or anything. Purely intuative..so in other words, yeah, I'm dumb.
But liked the interface alot. The 2nd part was customer service..not necessarily AT&T, but rather with Apple. Had nothing but good experience with them.
If the android is able to make usability just as good or even better without copying it, then we might have a winner.

They make it sound like Apple / iPhone will just sit idly by and not make it's own advances. That's not gonna' happen.
