ur kidding right? apple released MMS on all iphones throughout the world except ATT b.c of ATT's issues. ATT's service has been progressively getting worse and worse.

iPhones for the rest of the world have been able to MMS for years.

I doubt Apple will make a move fast enough...considering they waited 3 years to "fix" the MMS issue.
Three years huh? That's funny because the iphone has only been out a little more than two years and the software update for MMS was released 3 months before AT&T bothered to support it.

I couldn't give a rat's ass that my iphone interface can't be customized to look different from other people's. You think that's what people are really missing? I jailbroke my iphone and put some of the interface customizations on there and quickly realized the default way is the cleanest and easiest way to use the phone. I would like to play around with one of the new android phones, but I'm waiting to see some actual results before proclaiming yet another phone an "iphone killer".

Things were simpler back when people only had a pager and a landline, and everyone was jealous of Zack Morris.....though mostly because of Kelly Kapowski...

I have both the Android and a Iphone for tmoblie.. And the Iphone is just nicer. I did check out the motorola Cliq now thats going to be a really cool phone.
this is quoted from phone scoop's review: "Last point I'll make here: the CLIQ is deadly slow. Transitioning from app to app, or screen to screen, or whatever just takes forever. Given the presence of lag on so many Android handsets I am beginning to wonder if the minimum specs for processor speeds are high enough to really support the platform"

What's the point in being able to run multiple programs at once if the hardware can't really support it? I used to have my iphone jailbroken and used the backgrounding app on some music streaming apps and it slowed the phone WAY down. I got tired of the problems so my phone is running regular firmware now. Only thing I miss is being able to use my slingbox app over 3G.

No they have not

From http://www.macworld.com/article/139438/200...hone30user.html

The new release will be a free update for all iPhone users, though Apple cautions that certain features, such as MMS and stereo Bluetooth support, will not work on the original model released in 2007. Apple executives explained on Tuesday that those features require hardware that wasn’t built into the original phone.

MMS was released a month ago in the US for the 3G and 3GS iphones. It was released back in June or July for the rest of the world.
