Really? Is that why Apple JUST NOW allowed MMS on iPhones.
I'll vouch for AT&T and Apple, i've had zero problems with my IPhone and with AT&T's service.

Some people actually knew how to send MMS messages before it was even allowed. All you had to do is send it to the (number@mms.att.net)

Right now, the iPhone lacks the ability to be personalized...your iPhone looks just like me iPhone...unless I get a case or something...
The open source software allows more and more people to write more and more applications...and there's a lot of folks out there with MANY interests...everyday, more and more apps become available.
The Motorola Cliq will be a game changer (mark my words). Their Blur service will sync your information from social networking sites and is going to allow for a fantastic experience...add to that the Android OS...I can't wait to start using my Cliq. No more apps in silos having YOU go in and check the info... I doubt Apple will make a move fast enough...considering they waited 3 years to "fix" the MMS issue.

They make it sound like Apple / iPhone will just sit idly by and not make it's own advances. That's not gonna' happen.
and why would apple open their software to all other manufacturers? thats stupid. Nokia doesn't do that, RIM doesn't do that, Palm doesnt either. and If apple opens up to other service providers they will increase their market share substantially.

Yeah...that's NOT MMS. Fact is Apple loves the email/chat work flow...which I will say is good...but you have to give people what they want.
