Angels Hard At Work
glad they were watching out for you!!
i had a similar experience...
i just had my accord serviced at Tire America. I loaned my car too my roommate... and he called on the highway, saying that the wheel feels funny. So i told him if he gets a chance, pull off and check.
So a few miles later, he pulls into this police training station and right when he did, the left tire flew off, damaging the front left fenderwell. so i drive to see him.
It turns out, all 4 studs were tighten so much, that they cracked it from the rotors. and broke off one by one.
together, we put about 30 miles since sears, so i went back, and asked to see the manager. He said he will call me back. A day later, i was told to go in. They handed me a check in the amount that it would take to repair it, and made me sign this form stating that this does not place blame on them, but to settle the issue. I will not sue them, or file any additional claims against them.....
Stay away from SEARS!!!
