What a day-night-morning
OK, so yesterday I went to work at 7am and a few of us decided to stay late until around 9 or 10pm. 10 o-clock came around and we all said 1am, 1 came and we all said 4am. So at 4am we all started heading out after working 21 hours, I took the S2000 to work thinking I wasn't going to see any snow because the latest I was going to stay was around 9pm (big mistake). When I got outside we had almost 3 inches so far and it was still dumpin. I only live a lil over a mile from my work so I figured I'd try to make it home because there was no traffic at 4am. I made it about 4 blocks before I came to a long uphill I knew I couldn't make it up so I pulled off and sat at a corner waiting for a plow to go by because it's a main 4 lane road in the area.
Well a hour went by my phone was about dead and still no plows in sight so I was like **** it, I just wanted to be at home in bed so I went for it. There was a somewhat long downhill right before the longer uphill that I got some momentum from but not enough. I got up to about 23mph in 4th or 5th gear and made it 3/4s the way up the hill but the S-03s were spinning almost the whole time and the car came to a stop sideways in the middle of the road. So I spun it around, took it back down the hill, and parked it on a side road. I got out and started running the 8 or so blocks I had left wearing some moccasins
in the deep blowing snow. And guess what I saw when I got a block from my house... 2 snow plows went by!
I got home, went to sleep, woke up around noon, and went to dig out my car. I left the 4ways going and that drained the battery a lil too much so it wouldn't start. I came back, jumped it, and luckily there was about a foot of pavement showing at the side of the road going up the hill so I had enough traction to make it home. And now all is well.... well kinda, its time for me to go back to work for some overtime.
