Default Another computer problem

So I was doin' a search for some info the other day and I clicked on a link that really messed me up, my computer shows the little hourglass for a good 30 seconds and restarts itself. Next thing I know I've got so many pop-ups my machine is at a crawl and I'm getting virus warnings left and right. After 3 hours of cleaning the thing out with spybot, adaware, safe mode, and start-up menu deletions I have 1 problem left.

When I open a page, as soon as it opens the page will refresh, like the infomation is being sent somewhere, and no matter which page is opened it happens.

If I run adaware and the machine is clean, then go to any website, and re-run adaware, it finds this...

PeopleOnPage RegKey DataMiner HKEY_CURRENT_USER:SOFTWARE

This is in there even if the only page I've opened since the last clean-up is my own homepage!

Also, doing simple google searches nets me this pop-up...

User jon_bho has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections

...which is enhancemysearch.com, and I get a pop-up for simpli.com. I know they are related, but how do I find them and get them off of my computer when they don't show up in Files and Folders? Where is this thing at on my PC, and how can I remove it safely?

Thanks for all your help guys .

Both Spybot and Adaware have an option to run at next startup BEFORE Windows loads. You need to do that if you have not already. If that fails, try the new free MS Anti-Spyware Beta: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=en

It's supposedly much better than Adaware and Spybot at this point, even in beta: http://www.flexbeta.net/main/article...ion=show&id=84

Dude, you so saved the day! After running Spybot and Adaware at start up and still having the problem, I ran the MS prog and it found 33 threats, including 2 Trojans.

I'm clean and green now, thanks dude!!!
