Extreme road rage

 

Before they lock him up they should strap his ass to the ground and let those 100 people run over him with their bikes.

 

Not harsh enough in my book. I'm a cyclist and I've seen fellow riders get hit by cars...it's people like this that make me scared to go out and do something I love.

 

the article says that the whole event was intended to promote use of bicycles as an alternate means of transportation and raise awareness of bicycling all over the world.

HOWEVER.

they do this by slowly cycling through busy streets and frustrating motorists. Apparently this was not the only violent encounter this group has had with frustrated motorists.

I AM NOT saying i condone the actions of the driver in anyway. In fact i feel he definitely deserves jail time for attempted murder. I AM SAYING they need to plan ahead a little better so they don't piss off people in traffic.

 

I'm as an avid cyclist as they go but critical mass makes me cringe. They promote hatred of cycling more than understanding.
that said, I hope the driver goes to jail for a long time and his possessions seized to pay for the hospital bills of the victims.
