i get that alot... its usually always from people who cant come close to moving the amount of weight i do. specially when comparing to their body weight. (not trying being cocky at all)

i didnt know i had to wear shorts when im doing upper body. i wear shorts when i do legs.

your right, why work out at all when we are just going to get old. might as well not care and just get fat now since it happens later in life right?

im not trying to be an ass but your post is absolutely worthless.

That's why I personally think that's it's better to do workouts that focus on long, lean, tone muscle, rather than bulk & strength training. It's very difficult to maintain those bulky muscles as you get older, but if you're tone & lean, that's something you can carry forward.

Plus, in my experience, most girls prefer the appearance of slender guys more than bulky guys.

Those are just my thoughts, and have nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

At least you're sticking to it. I don't want to get huge in mass, but I do workout every now and then in order to bulk up slightly. At the moment, I am 5'10" and weigh about 145 lbs. I am incredibly thin.
Once I start working out a lot, I get really into it. When I take a break from lifting weights (to rest my arms/legs/torso), I get lazy and stop exercising for a few weeks.
Oh, well. I'm not planning on getting incredibly buff any way. Good luck with improving your muscle mass.

I'm not trying to hate. If you can lift all the weights in the gym, more power to you. I'm just trying to stress the point that your body will degenerate at some point later in life. Just using Arnold, the king of body builder to prove a point. But again who am I to judge what you're doing to your body. Sorry, didn't mean to offend you in any way.
Eh.. As long as steroids aren't involved in the adding of mass to this guy's body, it's all good.

My diet is pretty damn free, i always eat a full breakfast lunch and dinner and i eat as much as i can every meal. i eat whatever with the exception of things that have excessive fat, oil, grease, sodium or sugar. plus around 50 grams of protein at 9 a.m. 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

As for the whole "most girls prefer the appearance of slender guys more than bulky guys" from what ive seen, girls like a guy who is cut up, and being cut is always attainable after bulking. being that i am 6'2 it would take some serious mass for me to look really big or bulky.

You're going to have a hell of a time trying to gain that much weight and still be in single digits for body fat percentage. I've been tinkering off and on the past 6 years about how I want my physique to look like and it was tough. I'm 6'1" and 178lbs right now but I look like I weigh about 190lbs+. Point being some guys don't have the frame or the genetics to get where they want to be. But best of luck to you. Oh I agree on the girls like guys who are more 'defined' than 'bulky'
