Honestly though, id learn to use the iron sights, will teach you all the fundamentals, and then when you use a scope you'll be an ace. Oh and if you wanna go on a spree, use an ACOG, point and click baby.

and no I don't plan on any killing spree's and I did not find Bin Laden.

I just think long range shooting would be very relaxing. Almost Yoga like.

Oh it is, takes alot of concentration and good breathing techniques. But what really helps with stress is machine guns, but thats a different story.

M14 is a bad ass mofo, but my unit just got a nice big shipment of brand new M4's. Some sexy rifles right there, foward grips, acogs, collapsible stocks, and a few had M203's.

You know though if you really wanted to go on a spree, I wouldnt use a 5.56, no stopping power you need 2-4 rounds to put someone down. If you really wanted to take people down you need 9mm or like he said a 7.62(M14, and Heckler & Koch has a nice selection).

Ya sure got a bad case of zombies. The snail is a pita to reload and carry for that matter. But the downtime and casing shift on clips can get in the way.

I shot a Blaser .308 full on sniper setup (not sure on the model --maybe a R 93 tactical--but it had it all). it was BUTTAH!! the single most effective and pleasurable shooting experience I have ever had. I have never been a marksman and I was putting them in decent groups in the points from 100-200 yards.

they are expensive though
