Default Any notable blind date stories?

I'm just curious if anyone has a particularly interesting (good or bad) blind date story.

Here's my worst one ever:

I got set up by a friend to meet this "artsy" chick. She saw my pic and vice versa, we talked on the phone and she sounded pretty cool. So we decide to go out to have a few drinks, and blah blah blah.

I meet her and she looks pretty hot. She was living with her mom and she seemed pretty nice. So we get into my car and head to the local bar scene area and start to pound away (mistake #1).

After about 2 hours of Killions and Guiness, she said I have some pot (which I never smoke) and wanted to know if she could go back to her car. I said fine and we drove back to her house and picked it up. She said, would you like for me to come over, I said sure (mistake #2).

After I admit, I took a couple of hits (mistake #3) she dragged me back into my room and (mistake #4 - 6)....

In the morning, I had the worst hangover, which was still cuddling up next to me. I told her I had to work this morning and had to take off (who doesn't work on a sunday?)

So she leaves and about an hour later, she calls and says that she had a good time and wanted to come over tonight. I said I didn't think that was a good idea. So at 6pm, she shows up anyway, equipped with a big smile. I told her I had to work and she said she wouldn't bother me if she just sat on the couch and watched television. So after 5 minutes of pretending to work she went to my fridge and said, "you don't have anything for dinner.", so she left and went to the cheap supermarket and picked me up groceries. Coo cooo. So finally she leaves and just happens to leave her purse there.

So the next morning she comes to pick up her purse and then asks me when she could move in. I said I don't think we should see each other, and she started crying. I told her that I thought it was a mistake what we did and I was sorry.

Since then, I haven't done that one nighter thing again.

I'm off the market now

But man, that chick was nuts. Lesson to be learned, even hot chicks can be psycho.

Just wanted to share my Blind Date:

I just got out of the Army (after attending the first Pursian Gulf War) in 1993. Anyways, one of my buddy hooked me up with a Girl shortly there after, we went out had some fun. This was around Christmas time in 1993, our 2nd date was around New Year.

To make a LONG story short, 10 yrs later, we are Happily Married. and YES I waited 10 yrs before getting married. This is our first yr as a married couple, but we have lived together for 3 yrs before that.

later,
QT

nice. i went on a blind date once. it sucked. totally awkward and uncomfortable. we wound up seeing eachother for about 6 weeks. 5 years later we're still good friends and she's married to a good friend of mine. They're a perfect couple. So it all worked out good for everyone in the end.

No psycho blind date stories for me though. I prefer to be introduced to the psychos.
