Had a number of people here put it in their homes this summer. At 100+ temps made the attic space much much cooler. Do not know the dollars but all claim reducced electric bill for AC.
As an aside I am having a home built and am going with radiant technology.

Radiant barrier film applied to plywood or OSB is one thing, paint that absorbs into the surface I would think would be an entirely different beast.

I would be skeptical until I talked to several homeowners.

Even then it is hard to quantify. We replaced decking with radiant barrier sheeting and thought we noticed a difference, but it was a long time before we could actually tell. Your utility bills fluctuate so greatly that it is hard to tell.

What convinced us was that we noticed that the house temps were more uniform and the attic temps were lower.

No kidding, I cheated a bit though. I disco'd one of the ducts coming off the A/C unit to cool the attic after 3 hours of volcano heat!

Good idea, but it'll put a spike in your energy usage.

Clever nonetheless

http://hytechsales.com/prod85.htmlI went with the panels from Home Depot for the easy to get to spaces and for the space over the master bath where I can hardly squeeze into I did the spray. When I get it all done I'll post a few pics. ( Next weekend Most likely )
