I'm getting it the second its available. I wonder though how Cingular will price the iPhone for its current subscribers? This makes my Treo 750 look like those original Motorola brick phones from the late 1980's.

it has built in wi-fi though, so why would you need a digital service plan?

So you can get data when you're not anywhere near a WAP.

Thats fine, but if the phone has WiFi theirs no need to pay extra for the mobile plan IMO. If you need internet 24/7 then I can see paying for it, but if not its no big deal IMO.

My understanding was AT&T, have exclusive rights for 2 years. By the time the contract ends iphone would have been superseded.
