It's true that I don't have the best upper, but I get always build another one down the road. The accuracy of the rifle does depend greatly on the barrel, but from my experience the trigger has a lot to do with the accuracy of the shot. I've ordered a lot of parts already, so we'll see how it comes about. I appreciate all the insight you guys have offered. I know I post here for a good reason.

Good point. The one he bought from BCM has a 5.56mm chamber. A lot of new AR shooters miss this.
sweet, good to know I made the right decision. Its nice to be able to shoot both!

nice congrats. I wouldn't mind having one. The problem with being a gun enthusiast is that you can never have enough guns! lol

to what range are these accurate to?

So my upper from DSA took the logest to arrive. Almost everything else came right away. I still need sights and optics, but the gun is done and shootable. Here are some crappy pics of my california legal AR-15. And yes. It was built in my bathroom with scotch and cigars lol.

yeah I got the nitrated one. I'm am very happy with the fit an finish. It fits damn near perfect on my stag lower. the feed ramp issue some are complaining about isn't an issue fore me. They look very good to me. I took a couple pics of them, when you get a chance to see it. I'm also glad that the had guards have heat shields. If I get sub 1 MOA with this thing. It will be a dream come true with some good sights. Having built this gun, I can see how simple and efficient this machine is. I don't know why people complain about it being complicated to maintain. yeah you have to take it apart and clean it but it's so easy to do that. Can't wait to go put some of this federal ammo I got through it. Damn it, can't shoot till I have sights, unless I put the cheap scope off my .22 on it for now...

PS. Ar15.com is awesome, but I haven't been able to post on it because it requires you to have an email from an ISP provider. Most people use a mail system like Yahoo, google...

did you order one?
