We've been through the politics thing before many times. Search for "politics" and you should be able to find what was said and why. We are here to talk about cars, the S2000 and car ownership. To meet and have fun not promote political ideologies left, right or center. There are simply too many radically opposing views to discuss them here without causing major problems.

Believe me, I've got tons of political thoughts and ideas and believe me when I say you don't want to hear them. There are plenty of venues for discussing politics, ideology and dementia. This isn't one of them. Balloting is secret for a reason.

The assumption that discussions would be mature, intellegent and rational is a leap I'm afraid. It only takes one whacko to tip the cart.

S2000raj and LostWaffle have said it best. It's time for a change- for better or for worse, but it's change. Yes Davis is the fall guy for economics, but his administration made enough mistakes to piss-off the general public. Just look at all of the bills he's passed in the past month or two and peoples' reactions... What he's done has hurt the lower and middle working classes financially- something that's very hard to forgive. I feel even more for students who are trying to work their way through school- the CSU I attended had its tuition double in the past 4 years, to compensate for funding problems. I'm lucky I made it out 2 years ago before the largest fee hike. My wife (fiancee when she graduated) wasn't so lucky- she only made it through because I helped her out.

Many say the recall is an affront to democracy, but I disagree. Politicians should be held accountable to their boss- the American people. Davis did poorly in his reviews and just got laid off.

Not to be a stickler, but that is the exact reason that I refuse to pay for membership, because the free speech, is withheld, if you don't like it, don't read it. Bye

Anybody know where Arnold got his college degree?
What is interesting is this map;
http://vote2003.ss.ca.gov/Returns/recall/mapN4.htm
Most of the counties with big cities voted NOT to recall Davis, but look at the rural areas. Any thoughts (serious) on what this says?
