if i found him on the same side of the road as me, or if my torque wrench was on my side instead of in my trunk he would've gotten hurt real bad, but then i probably wouldn't be able to be posting this either

now i keep the bar for my hydraulic jack under my seat...just in case.

Sunchild, you RULE!!!

MODERATORS - May we please have a forum dedicated to the words of Mr. Sunchild? Wyhen someone needs a new a$$hole ripped, nobody does it better.

As for my two cents on the whole incident, I would have lost my temper, without a doubt.

People get shot in the head over crap like that.

Try following him for a while, long enough for him to get nervous. Then pass him and as you get next to him yell BAM!!! really loud! He'll jump 100' into the air. Shoot, if he's old enough, he'll have a heart attack. No more bike riding for him.

You should just carry a can of FRESH tennis balls with you at all times. They are non-lethal, but you can still pop em in the forehead if anyone pisses you off while your driving. ESPECIALLY when they damage you or your vehicle.

Remember, the convertible quality of the S2000 ensures maximum reach and velocity for a crisp, clean throw of the tennis ball from inside the vehicle. Happy pitching ...

And no, I'm not serious people.

CBeyond,

Respect is a two way street. I will start respecting cyclists on the road when the start respecting the rules of the road. Is this a generalization? Hell yes! But one born of 45 years of observation. Cyclists rightly demand to be treated as a vehicle on the road, but refuse to comply with the responsibilities inherent in vehicle operation. I have never, NEVER, seen a cyclist obey a stop light or stop sign unless they knew they would get waxed by traffic in the intersection. Passing on the right, weaving between cars, riding against traffic, riding on high speed routes where car overtake rates exceed their speed by 3-4 times, blowing pedestrians off the sidewalk; these are not isolated incidents, but daily reality. Their kind concern for their own health and the environment is great, but not at the expense of others safety.

Some things are magnets for eccentric people; recumbent bicycles for example.
