I scrupulously observe every traffic rule when I'm riding, but it still scares the hell out of me when I encounter a driver who has some kind of vendetta against all cyclists because of these other idiots who don't know what they're doing. The fact remains that if you get in an accident with an SUV, you get a bent fender, and if you get in an accident on a bicycle, you end up crippled or dead.
None of the cars that almost killed me were sports cars, and I would guess that S2000 drivers are much better on average than the typical out-to-lunch SUV owner. Still, some of the attitudes expressed here like "running the bastard over" are scaring me. It's ok to dream about getting even with some guy who went berzerk on your mirror, but I hope you don't feel that way about ALL cyclists!
Josh,
2 things to carry.
1) A small plastic stick maybe 6inches or so. Why? So you can sneak up next to him while he's riding and jam it into the front wheel spokes. Watch the bicyclist "fly like an eagle."
2) Small box of tacks. Office Depot & company sell a box of them for .50. Excellent revenge tool. Can you say FLAT tires?
those people are Gaylord Fockers!
Just some thoughts...

By the way, this is Rubber Ducky's car, not mine.
