AXA or AMEX
hi all,
I just got job offers from these two companies;
AXA Advisors, and AMEX advisors.
However, I can't decide my mind which one to choose.
they have about the same benefits except a few things
that I dont really give a damn in my age.
Given the same chances and everything,
if you were me,
which company would you choose and why?
And if anyone here is a financial advisor/consultant,
can u tell me what it will take to be succesful in this field?
thanks in advance.

I have heard bad things about AMEX financial advisors from the point of working for them.
Basically, you SELL. You don't do any sort of "financial planning" whatsoever. Your job is to sell the cookie-cutter "strategy" that AMEX is pushing. All the while the customer thinks they are paying for a customized plan but they are not.
AMEX has A LOT of turnover. From what I hear, any non-commission pay you get is a draw and must be paid back.
