Did he deserve to get 'accidentally executed' of course not, but let's not pretend Oscar Grant is some sort of Martyr. He and his friends were starting fights on BART, and resisting arrest. I love how this thing has been spun to the point where people forget to realize why 3 officers were dispatched to the scene to begin with. Like I said, clearly no one deserves that, but surely you can pick a better example.

No, I wasn't there. His actions didn't indicate rabies though, so the officer should have known. Kind of dumb of the cop to justify actions without any justification. "I thought the squirrel had rabies because... I dunno, I just did."

You know how I pick up small crazy animals? With a towel. I figured that out when I was what 5 years old? I am sure the cop could have done the same thing instead of spraying it with pepper spray designed to subdue a creature over a 100x larger.


That would be the equivalent of someone using pepper spray powerful enough to bring Godzilla to its knees on a human. How do you think that would feel? Probably like a fire hose of molten lava to the face. Yeah, sounds pleasant. THAT is why I am pissed at that cop.

 

I like how everybody says they hate cops because they give them a ticket for breaking the law, but who does everyone call when someone is threatening their life or stealing their shit. Just saying

 

I hate cops because they enforce unconstitutional laws and also because people being forced to pay for police "protection" via taxes is clearly extortion, especially when cops have no duty to protect you.

Calling cops when someone is going to kill you won't really help. They will most likely just show up as an investigatory service as to now your murder took place.

It doesnt matter whether or not you think the laws are unconstitutional or not, they are just doing their job and providing for their families. Yah they can be assholes, but i would like to see you face murderers and gruesome deaths on a daily basis and be the nicest guy in the world. Either way, are you just saying that if someone is threatening your family or your shit got stolen that you would just sit there and not call the cops? Don't lecture me in what you think is right and wrong, they are normal people like you and me who just happen to have to go through alot of shit every day. Obviously you buy into all the propaganda about how bad the system is. but where would you be without it. And if you hate it so much then help work to change it. These people risk their lives everyday. What do you do?
