i live in NJ and might have to move to a different state because of job.

which state is best to live in terms of community, cost of living, quality of living, etc...
i would prefer an area where it doesn't get too cold..

so which state would you move to? (excluding california and florida)

California. There's a reason the cost of living is so high.

Honestly, what state you live in doesn't matter nearly so much as what local within any given state. I quite like the Seattle area, but the rest of Washington I see little reason to live in. What time I've spent in New Orleans was also quite enjoyable (although I don't know that I'd want to live there) the rest of Louisiana is a cesspool. Tallahassee is a nice little city aside from the minor detail that there's little to do beside hit up dive bar.

Where are your family and friends? Pick that state. Studies show that a strong community is worth more than money.

Don't have family and friends? Move to New York. Highest percentage of single girls.

 

I personally would move to salt lake city.
I love it there
