LOL so true and screw Texas, CA FTW. QFT because all the texans are migrating over here faster than the mexicans!

Our cost of living is insane, but you get what you pay for, and its the most beautiful place in the country, surf and snow!
Don't be mad just because we're bigger and could totally invade your state if we wanted to have earthquakes knock us in to the ocean.

Oh and on the subject of hot women, Fort Worth, TX was voted #3 most attractive city in the US by Maxim a year or two ago. Granted we were behind Miami and LA, but we're still up there.

I just woke up. thanks for all your advices.
first of all, i will be graduating from pharmacy school in May, but i hear job market in new jersey sucks so that's why i'm asking this question.
i really don't know if I can get whatever state I want..i'm just throwing this out there..

i lived in NJ for 12 years so I think that's long enough.
i'm also into landscape photography so I want to move to the west...
i do have friends in irvine,CA but closest one I got offered was santa maria and I have no clue how it is there..

i want to live in a relatively populated area. not like NYC but maybe like boston...i don't want to live at a really quiet, small towns..i might get depressed and commit suicide

i've been to massachusetts several time but I don't like it there except boston.
i've been to virginia (burke?) and it was too quiet and roads were very confusing.
i've been to pheonix but I didn't like it for some reason..
i hate NYC
i love san francisco and boston

basically i want to live at a city like boston...populated yet not as hectic as nyc
