bicyclist on the road
Run them all over! I hate them, there never careful, will pass on the right and ride on dangerous roads. For god sakes find a trail or a safe road. Die cyclist die
Good point kill the damn joggers/walker on those same dangerous roads too. WTF are they thinking jogging in the middle of the freaking lane around a hairpin turn. Darwin awards!

I'm a cyclist, so I for sure say share the road. I also say though that cars as well as cyclists should respect one another. It's not just a rule for the motorist.
Is there even such a thing as "bicyclist insurance"??
I guess it might be covered by the bicyclist on the odd chance they happened to have an umbrella policy. If a bicyclist ever hit your car and damaged it, you'd probably have to either file a civil case against the cyclist or your auto insurance would cover it, possibly under the comprehensive part of your policy.
The bicylist has every right to be on the road as your vehicle does. The bicyclist is expected to follow the same rules of the road as other powered vehicles. They are not obliged to yield the driving lane to vehicles behind them.

From an experience i had, a cyclist pulled next to me without me knowing. I preceeded to make my turn while the cyclist tried to go straight. Its almost like having a two lane road when one is not acceptable.

They can't have the same punishment because they don't have insurance. Plus when cyclist get pulled over, they aren't required to carry a license. Also, what ever happened to exercise bikes.(you'll never have to worry about roads)

And as far as a license... it is required that we carry a license while on a bike on the road. Regardless of that, you should always carry identification with you at all times cause you never know when you might need it.

Come on now... be serious and realize what you just said.
Andre
I always have my license on me when I ride my bike, and I'm pretty aware that I don't stand much of a chance against a 4000 lb car so I make sure I do what I can to keep myself out of immediate danger.
