bicyclist on the road

I don't mind sharing but I hate it when we come to a stop light and I have to wait and they can just zoom on ahead. WTF? I think if they are going to be on the same road as I am then they must obey the same traffic law. That's cheating if they expect us to treat them as one of us then why can't they obey the same law?
Running a light on a bike should result in the same punishment as doing so in a car. (Naturally occuring cosnequences might preclude gathering the fine from the hood ornament formerly known a cyclist, however.)

From an experience i had, a cyclist pulled next to me without me knowing. I preceeded to make my turn while the cyclist tried to go straight. Its almost like having a two lane road when one is not acceptable.
you are responsible to know what's around you and to proceed appropriately. In an intersection lacking traffic signals with a "Walk/Don't Walk" light, that cyclist could just as easily have been a mother and child.
They can't have the same punishment because they don't have insurance. Plus when cyclist get pulled over, they aren't required to carry a license. Also, what ever happened to exercise bikes.(you'll never have to worry about roads)
Dude, it was a back road and he was behind me. If he was following traffic laws he would have stayed there instead of trying to ride next to me. I dont check my back right bumper every stop sign to see if there are bikers there, sorry.

Not much bothers me more then having to pass the same cyclist 9 times in traffic.

I was just saying they cant be punished the same. It basically comes down to the fact, its not that big of an issue to make laws for the different scenerios.
