Bodybuilders Unite!
I've been lifting for around 12 years but for strength and overall fitness, not bodybuilding per se. I was lifting heavy for mass last year and got up to 210, which I wasn't happy about. I'm at 5'10, 180 now, but I'm not lifting as much as I used to.
Before i started, i weighed in at 200lbs for 5'9''. July of last year, i got a gym membership and started working out on a regular basis. gained another 5lbs in the first few weeks and decided to change and regulate my diet. Now i'm 165lbs, my goal weight is 160lbs

Casual.
Started seriously about 10 months ago. Since then I've gained about 30lbs of body weight (I was severely underweight before) and still slowely going up.
I don't have great genetics so I'll never compete; I just do this for general health and hopefully in a year or 2, be proud of how I look

1. I want to look good with my shirt off.
2. I'm not getting any taller so might as well get wider.
3. I hate being skinny ( was all my life)
and may be 4th reason. girls love it when guys can pick them up. makes them feel light.
I'm 5'10" 160, I quit working out about 8 mounths ago because I had to go under the knife. I have been thinking about getting back in to my old routine, but I keep putting it off. I was working free weights five days a week, three heavy days two light and I would either swim or run each day. I was doing pretty good befor I quit, now I just have to get motivated again.

I see what you did there.
though I think I'm still getting taller.
