Bring Rosie Back
Freedom of speech exists on s2ki.
You are free to post whatever you want, and you are also free to have your post removed. I'm not going to repost what he posted, as that goes against why it was removed.
It was mysoginstic and offensive. If humor was the intent many did not find it funny. Contrary to popular belief the admins and moderators are s2k enthusiasts that contribute there free time to this website.
The next time you read a status update about "hatefawking a slore" picture your mom, sister, grandmother or wife being the subject of that comment.
Yet the site admins are the bad guy here for enforcing the forum rules that everyone agreed too?

I read the post that is in question, I did not picture my mom, sister, grandmother wife or my daughter... as it was a remark from an individual known to have a "push it to the edge" sense of humor. There are many ways to offend in this world and those ways have been increased by the internet. Richard Pryor used to offend people, Eddie Murphy used to offend people...those people who got offended did not buy tickets to their shows, they did not watch them on TV or go to their movies. We all have choices, if something is offensive to me, I simply choose to disengage by either clicking a button, changing the channel or flipping the page. The internet is full of offensive language but yet it remains...the fact that this site has some questionable areas itself makes this decision interesting.
I think it would be a great experiment and good publicity for this site to conduct a vote...let all active paying members vote on a public post, Bring Him Back or not. If the majority of the members say he needs to be banned then so be it.
Just remember, someone is discussing whether or not they would have sexual relations with you mom, wife, sister, girlfriend, grandmother, daughter, cousin, or friend.
The quid pro quo many of you are forgetting is that he was already warned, and yet, he persisted. Ideally, his first act of contrition would have been to tone his language down.
I saw the comments, and while I wasn't offended (because Internet), it DID touch my litmus test of, "He said that? In the public area? Really?" Along with the qualifier of, "I know it's Rosie, but dang, kickin' 'em while they're down. . ."
We have had a forum with more adult conversation (and much greater latitude in enforcement) . It was birthed out of situations similar to this.
There are folks I miss (Mr. Eryozgatlian) and folks I don't (GroovyNeilNeil), in both cases though, they were banned not because of who they were, nor what they intended, nor even what they normally posted, but rather, they each had hot buttons where they could not control their (obviously written) speech, despite warnings from the Moderation Staff.
There are hot buttons, Rosario found his. . .

I realized how corporate S2ki had become when my NorCal Chrono Series threads were deleted because S2ki sold the Racing & Comp subforum to a SoCal based vendor and this vendor decided that no series would be talked about if it wasn't his. $$$ rules. My interest and participation in s2ki plummetted after that.
Not surprised in this era of corporate political correctness that someone would be banned... no matter how corny and attenion starved most of the banned member's posts sounded.

You will be offend during your time on Earth 100% guaranteed. If you envision your mom, sister, grandma as a slore, other people probably do too. At that point, the common denominator should be assessed(the slore). I'm sure I'm not the only one with a drunk uncle that messes up every family function he attends. Its how we relate...would I get pissed if my mom, sister, grandma were slores? nope. because we all are slores at some point and in some way!
Go in there & find where I talk about beating women or slapping them in the face with my genitals. Don't drag forums where that content is approved into yet another bash "the man" fest over someone who was warned about his behavior & went about his ways regardless. Because that's going on here.

Please can you address the comments regarding how we can have the hotties section, and porn references (see would you thread) but not be able to state our opinions?
