This is ridiculous. Bottom line is this should have been a temp ban at the absolute most.
Honestly I think even that is too much, but I guess I could have at least accepted that. A permaban for off-color comments is just plain ridiculous though and completely unacceptable.

The comments can be hidden and collapsed, just like a subforum has to be entered.
It's not what was said which is the issue, it's the censorship and resulting ban.

If you want to go on here saying the same rules apply to the forums and status updates then moderate the forums accordingly.
Status bars are meant for quick, opinion based conversation just like the hotties, backlot etc sections are meant for whatever they are meant for.
People have to actively click on the comments section of a status to read them, just like one has to click on the hotties tab to go see almost naked chicks on there.

Rosie was joking around. Nothing he said was that f@#ked up from what i heard. Banning is pretty severe. A suspension i could understand. A ban is idiotic at best.

Sad how people get so butt hurt on the interwebs. If Rosie's posts actually offended you to feel the need to complain, you ought to grow the F up, because you're either a big baby or just soft. I don't necessarily blame the moderators, as its their job and Rosie was warned, rather the giant pu**ies that some people have become, and we all feed the need to cater to.
