The $29.99 data plan IS unlimited. I would know. I work for the company...
"That $30 a month buys you an 'unlimited' data plan that has a monthly cap of 5Gb. Clearly, we are using different dictionaries to define 'unlimited'. Something got lost in translation somewhere."
iPhone is the best phone I've owned.
iTunes.
Wifi at my house and work.
Only problem with this phone is that girls can't send me nudes.. I'm pretty pissed. Honestly..
Anyone tried cricKet or pocket.. Maybe it's San antonio or Texas based.
Worse phone service ever, so I've heard.

Mine did last week, and you can save it right into your photos, and I have password protection on my photos, mail, sms, banking, etc.
But make sure to jailbreak afterwards, can easily find someone on craigslist to do it, if you were in Dallas I'd jailbreak it for you.
iPhone on it's own is good, with jealbreak it really is great.
All the complaints are resolved, you want multitasking? Jailbreak gets you that and anything else, want to customize your screen and icons, yes you can do that, want to have a video wallpaper or video ringtones? no problem mine is doing that right now. Want the theme to look like a blackberry, windows vista, storm, or OS X, no problem you can do that too
The iPhone does a lot of things well, being an actual telephone is not one of them though. Its always very apparent when I've called a friend who has an iPhone b/c half the time the call goes straight to voicemail and the other half of the time reception is so bad I can barely tell what they're saying.

Sprint FTW! Fuk At&T, it it werent for them fellating apple so much and hard they would be in bankruptcy. But since most people are so fickly and have to have the Itoy, At&T can continue to offer sucky service and raise price because most people haaave to have a Iphone. But to each his own and its their money.
Sprint'd got some of the best rates. There coverage is great and I know people will
about their customer service but it has been outstanding lately. I know they've been working on it and it shows. Now if Palm could get their hardware issues with the Pre fixed I would be pleased as punch.

It may be unlimited for the other PDA phones, but as called out by PC World, the Droid is capped at 5GB a month:

The 350 ETF only applies to PDA phones. This is because Verizon is loosing a LOT of money when customers terminate 6 months into their contract (when they actually own the phone). The 175 ETF does not cover Verizon's loss after 6 months. Also this policy does not go into effect until the 15th.

The tethering costs the same at Verizon and its only (real) competitor AT&T. You can "unlock" a Verizon smartphone just like you can unlock the iPhone... Also good luck ever getting a warranty replacement on your "unlocked" iPhone.
Are Verizon's data plans rediculous? Not when you compare them to ATT's. And especially not when you consider our coverage easily tops ATT's.
