California Car Duster
Don't forget....NEVER wash it. It loses it's ability to pick up dust if you do that. Just buy another one if you think you need a new one. I've used the same one for 4 or 5 years, so you see how long they last. Just be religious about using it after a trip and it'll save you a lot of car washing - but don't use it if the car is plain dirty.
The Cali Car Duster is great. I even dusted my new house with it before moving in two weeks ago.
There are three things in my arsenal that purists wouldn't approve of, but which I think work great:
1. The car duster
2. The Absorber (instead of a natural chamois)
3. The California Water blade
I use the latter two in conjunction for a super quick dry.

Is that true about never washing it? The instructions say to wash it with a mild soap like Woolite and cold water. I love mine -- use it two or three times a day. But there's a lot of salt dust on the roads which the duster has been picking up. I can't imagine it's good to leave that stuff on it.
Use the duster and the water blade...
both work excellent. My car is black. However, living in the rainy NW, I basically use the duster until the car gets enough dirt to be washed (not much dirt).
with the nice weather here lately, I washed the car yesterday and am probably going to Zaino it today.
