So does this boil down to you being pissed off because you didn't get extended lugs and some discrepancy about the offset? Do they fit or don't they?

Was the offset specified in the FS thread you responded to? Was it correct at the time of purchase?

I bought some wheels a few years back and they required their own lugs and the rear were longer. The wheel company supplied them, but also charged for them.

read!!! im scared of putting 5x100 on my car regardless of what well it worked for other people...it can possibly break off MY studs and in the worst case scenario, it can roll off the car. who's gonna take responsible for that? there's no reason for me to take the chances.

mike, just so you know...i can still get the money back even if you don't agree. I just wanted to handle this without having to do all the reverse transaction etc. especially between a known member on here...

I tell you what...write me a letter saying that in the instance the wheels damage or cause any form of wreck, you'll hold responsible for the bills and whatever consequences to follow. As much as I like to put the wheels on, it's ME that's taking the risk...and I never planned on taking such a risk regardless of the price of the wheels.

For what is worth....i would not put 5x100 wheels on my car. I am still not even sure how that would work except with really big holes that compensate for the difference spacing between the holes.

Goodluck.

sidenote - Mike....are you the guy who bought wesmaster's chassis? were you going to put a v8 into it or something neat (other than F20)

So now we know these wheels weren't designed for use on this car and are actually not appropriate for use on this car because they are 5*100 instead of 5*1.114. Seems this guy should get his money back since they aren't designed for this vehicle. Regardless of rather or not someone altered them to fit the car they in fact were not made to fit a car with our lug pattern. I say this guy is right to want his money back. I'd be fighting for it too. If your going to sell something make sure that everyone involved knows that its been jerry rigged to fit the car before selling it. If your going to buy something make sure you know what the hell your getting first before you fork over the cash.

So if the wheels ARE 5 x 100 and the wheels are unaltered from the factory then explain how they fit the S2000 hub perfectly aside from the fact that you MIGHT need different lug nuts.

I would have to say they are mismarked or altered....? 5x100 doesn't magically fit 5x114.3 with no alterations

is exceltoexcel hardheaded???
the wheels are made for the s2000....
freq has the same exact wheels and look at his selling thread they fit perfect.. if they were 5x100 they wouldnt fit onto the s2000 hub.....

scot. yeh i bought wesmaster's chassis.. im using it for road racing...
im putting in f20c....

dp32185... the idea of me taking responsibility for any accidents occuring with the wheels is ridiculous... remember i had the same exact wheels so maybe airgate should be responsible for anything happening to the future owners of the wheels (me and you)

maybe i could charge you lets say 100 dollars a month which will cover 5000 dollars of an accident and you can pay a deductible of 500 dollars..

i am in the same boat with you that i put 5x100 wheels and risking injury and death... you know what, we should blame tirerack for selling these wheels with the 5x100 stamped onto it.. better yet we should take this up to SSR themselves....

Might be a lil late, but I have also purchased something from him. Everything was smooth except he never sent the gaskets for the exhaust. When I notified him, he ordered a new one from spugen right away. I have no regets doing business with him. Hope everything goes well..
