My old Star Tac is finally giving up and I need to replace it. I'm not that anxious to have a camera phone or an all digital phone, but according to a friend at the local Alltel store the LG5450 is currently the phone with the best reception and lowest rate of return in my home area. So my questions:

If you have this phone how do you like it?
How is the talk time and stand-by time?
Would you buy it again?
Do you find the camera feature useful?

I'm not 100% sure but I think 8900s2k has had one of the LG camera phones for some time now. You might message him and ask? Other than that I don't know anything about them.

 

I have a new LG, just not the camera model...it's been good so far.

 

I have a vx6000 camera phone and I like it. It plays mp3's as rings if you get the cable to upload them to it. there is a trick to have a speaker phone on it also. Its the same as 8900s2k has.

 

Thanks guys, the vx6000 isn't an option for me. Alltel is the only carrier that has good coverage in this area and that phone while very much like the 5450 isn't offered. From what I can tell the main difference is the lack of the speaker phone option which I would love and the 6000 is a dual mode vs the tri mode that I have to have here.
