At least that person has m power, there is a teen around in sugar land that drives a 328ci or something a long those lines and has "e46" on his license plate. Yea, you sure have m power.

sorry i didn't mean anything offensive.

but i still don't like owner- name plates on expensive/ flashy cars.
say something like "ted" on viper... it's just too dorky.
"oh girls look at me i'm so rich, oh btw my name's ted."

Unlike the US and Canada, in Asia and Europe, people don't get to choose their own license plate. The #s and letters are picked randomly. Thus you have people who trade license plates. Say your name was Pete Wilson, well you could do a search and buy a license plate with a PW... In HK, single digit license plates like 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 will sell for US$50K or more. HK1, HK2, HK1288 etc. US$5K...

Wow - so in the U.S. you get to choose your own plate for free when you get a new car ?
Isn't there some kind of market for old plates - if I were in the U.S. and willing to sell W6 DAN to someone, could I auction it ?
