Well I just watched the show, curious more then anything, as I loved the original, and TNG, but I wasn't too impressed. The characters were weak, the story got them into space way to soon, If they didn't have digital displays during the Kirk years why do they have it years before????
Well, I know, but overall I wasn't to impressed..... Bring on Buffy!!!!

I didn't like TNG's first episode..I didn't like DS9 for a while either...and I don't like this first episode. I suspect I'll become a junkie within the first 10 episodes.

I was kinda wanted to see big chunky LED's and Spaceman Spiff helmets..but no. Way to advanced.

Now buffy..another story. They need to get her into a "special" fighting bikini..that she magically transforms into when fighting vampires.

Again just my opinion....

Seriously, I kinda dug it. But please, no spoilers for those on the west coast that have not seen it yet.
