It's like the practice of medicine....it's changed from a pure try to heal practice to a try and not get sued practice.

these people are obviously after the money. suing someone is not going to bring your friend/relative back from the dead. this society sucks, reminds me of that bs lawsuit against mcdonalds(the hot coffee case).

Why can't people accept that shit happens, and move on? Those people died because there were too many people on the deck. Didn't any of them take a look out there and realize "damn, thats a lot of people on this wooden deck, I wonder if it can support this much weight"

I mean, sure, I think in some situations there should be a lawsuit involved, but most of the time its over something so retarded.
