Default I hate lazy a$$ people...

...in general. But the thing that REALLY gets to me is when I see people whip into a handicap parking space, place the handcap tag on the rearview, and walk or sometimes jog to the door of the building they are going to. MOST people I observe doing this have no physical visible ailment or disability that would prevent them from walking an extra 50-100 feet like the rest of us. I think more times than not ( and this is MY OPINION) that the handicap tags actully belong to other people or are ill-gotten. I cannot tell you how any times I have seen mid 20s to early 30s dudes roll up in the "pimped out" SUV, park in the handcap spots and waddle their way to the mall entrance as they hold up their damn pants because they forgot that the belt is supposed to cinch around your waist, not your F&$#ING thighs. This pisses me off to no end and actually makes me want to whack them in the kneecaps so at least they havean excuse to park in those spaces.
I have a friend in Vegas that is a double amputee (with prosthetics) and he will even walk instead of park in the handicap spaces unless there are just no other spots.

Rant over

Where's our fellow member that walks just fine, but can remove his prosthetic leg at will?

I know this happens. In fact, know of someone who uses the tag of his late mother to do this. On the other hand, I have a good friend who, if you saw him most of the time, you'd think he was just fine. But he has essentially no feeling in his legs, has had multiple back surgeries, had a colostomy bag, nearly died twice on the operating table and is on constant pain medications. This was as a result of an injury at the family buisness and some botched up doctoring.
It's just hard to judge.

Just because someone appears to be fine doesn't mean they are. There are lots of disabilities that you would never know about unless someone actually told you.

Like the other guy said. . . the last time (oh, about 3 months ago) this rant came up, one member posted that he parks in the Disabled parking spot, hops out, people have, on occasion, started yelling at him. To which, he just pops his leg off and yells "Is that disabled enough for you?"

It's unfortunate that the low class people make it hard for the people that need the parking spots be looked down upon. True it's hard sometimes to tell that someone really needs the spot, but on the flip side there are a lot of cheaters.
