[QUOTE]Christian Bale wants to clear the air about his "Terminator" tirade - and make sure people don't avoid the movie because of his admitted "potty mouth."
Bale called in to the Kevin and Bean show on L.A.'s KROQ radio station Friday to apologize for his meltdown on the set of "Terminator: Salvation," which leaked earlier this week.
"I know I have a potty mouth. Everybody knows that now," Bale told the hosts. "I was out of order beyond belief ... I acted like a punk and I regret that."
Though he called his nearly four-minute tantrum "inexcusable," the "Dark Knight" actor said he blames the blow-up on the emotional scene he was shooting and his investment in the film in general.
"I'm lucky to be doing what I do, I never forget that," Bale said. "And that is why I put so much into what I do and why I care so much about it, and why sometimes that enthusiasm just goes awry."
Bale's F-bomb-laced attack was fired off against the film's director of photography Shane Hurlbut - but Bale says the two have long since made up.
"I've not only talked with [Shane], we have resolved this completely. That very day we kept working for a number of hours. ... I have no intention of getting anybody fired.
"I want everyone to know, I've seen a rough cut of the movie, it looks fantastic, and he has done a wonderful professional job."
Most importantly, Bale says, audiences shouldn't judge the movie based on this incident.

I love it when big super hero's and celebrities act human and the media/people get all their panties in a wad.
Im glad he apologized but dont feel he really needed too. Except he probably did to save face with all those people who don't seem to understand that actors have emotions to when it comes to their work.
Hell, my boss reacts this way sometimes. When you are under a lot of stress and someone else ####s up your hard work, its quite human to over react and become emotional.
On a side note I am excited for this Terminator film. Bale should be good for this part!

I get the feeling some of you folks here were picked on or bullied as children.
No self-respecting person treats another as he did and no self-respecting person would put up with his crap. You can make your excuses for him all day long and it doesn't change a thing.
You work for someone who treats his employees such as this and you put up with it, that is your choice and in my mind you are an idiot. Regardless of your rate of pay or position.
You know someone who treats others such as this and you allow it, that too is your choice and in my mind says much about your pussy whipped ass.
