Hi guys, got a quick question.

I just got Win XP-Pro and I'm trying to put my Photoshop 6.0 on it and it keeps telling me that the reg code is invalid, I've put it in about 50 times just thinkin' there was something I did wrong somehow, but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for any help...

Andrew

Are you using ALL CAPS? I've had a lowercase problem before...

My experience with Adobe products is that the serial number has a long section like the one you listed, plus a dash (-) and then a 3 or 4 digit number. This three or four digit number does not usually show up on screen after the program has been loaded up on your PC, so if you are trying to move the program from your old PC to your new one with WinXP, then maybe double-check with your original documentation to be sure you have the full serial number?

Hope this helps!

Nope, no caps, and I've made that mistake too. I believe I have the full code on there Strange, but thanks.

I just wanted to see if it was the code itself.

Turns out you were right after all, but the weird thing is that the first time I installed it I didn't use the dash and last 4 digits and it worked. Things that make you go Hmmm...

Thanks again Strange.
