In this specific case, a suspension would've been much fairer. It was inappropriate but not abominable.

I've seen cops get suspended for much worse things.

He should of not get fired or suspended, should of just got a warning.

I hear on the news of cops doing much more worst stuff and gets vacation with paid. Some of them get away with physical abuse of a citizen, and since it was the cops word vs the average people, the cop won.

If this is all there is to the story then...

Incoming wrongful termination lawsuit and waste of tax payers money. Perhaps in poor taste/lack of consideration, but you can't fire someone for something like this.
