The sad thing is that the family is stating that he is mentally ill and they asked for help for months to no avail

emm lets see he stabbed a 85 y.o women to death and than killed a cop. I'd say he got off lightly since he is not in a wheelchair. Bastard.

 

there is no evidence that he stabbed anyone he was in for questioning and not for an interrogation hence the reason he was not handcuffed

I once heard from a friend of mine that he thought "half of all police wanted to be cops to help and protect people, the other half are insecure pricks who went into police work to push people around." I have to say I have encountered both.

I am not for someone pushing someone around because they have a badge but I don't think that is the case here. If I were one of the cops that caught him, I don't know if I would have been swinging at him, but I don't think I would have been in their trying to stop it either. I guess I am trying to say that in this guys case, you reap what you sow.

 

the man who killed a judge and a few other folks in Atlanta a while ago did not look like this man when they arrested him.

um, the guy jumped out a window. there are two tiny pictures that don't show much more than the guy's eyes. How are you people coming to the conclusion some cops beat the crap out of him? He shot a 50 y.o. man in cold blood with his own gun, and wasn't even a suspect or under arrest. Wow, the cops sure are the bad guys here :/

 

My take is sure I give him the benefit of doubt, but I also give the circumstance a benefit of doubt. That is, jumping off the window from third floor, chase of arrested by the police......does anything think he would come out unharmed?

If the police did take revenge at him and bit the living daylight out of him, I think they would not have hit his face. You know, the cops are not that dumb.

If I were them, I will place a phone book on his chest and smack him with a sledge hammer. It is totally undetectable

His face will heal, but the cop will still be dead. This punk's family should get over it.

the place is just up the road from me and it's been the focus of the local news all week. during a TV interview, the Providence Police Commissioner clearly stated that the suspect was arrested after a "violent" struggle..
