The correct way to get between people?
I attended a John Mayer concer the other night and had floor seats very close to the stage (this also applies to movie theaters). My question is this, when you enter a row and your seat is in the middle of the row, do you move down to your seats facing the stage with your butt in people's face or facing the crowd with your crotch facing the people's face? The reason I ask this, is when people cut in front of me, most of the time a girl will face me to get to her seat but if it is a guy, they face the other way. So, does it depend on who is sitting down or is this the standard between a woman and a man? I try to walk straight to the row if possible with my sides in either direction but sometimes there are some large people that seems to block you no matter what that is going to require you to face them or not. What are you thoughts? Another annoying thing I have put up with is intentional grinding/ rubbing by the person getting to their seats. If that happens, can you push them or is that going to provoke a response for touching them? I have asked my friends and my wife and none of us seems to know. They really should make the rows spaces bigger since american people is getting "larger".
