^^^ I completely agree with you. Many people are on a one way street. What ever kind of car they have is the best and only car to have. I consider myself a car enthusist. I can appreciate any car that looks very sleek and has some decent power.

 

the people on the one-way street are the ones who grasp at straws in the mode of "my dad can beat up your dad," IMHO.

 

Corvettes are like Jesus IMO. Great guy, can't stand a good portion of his following though.

Having owned 4 vettes in my past and now owning an s2000 I can stand on both sides. I am one of the few who just likes sports cars period.... I am not brand specific. But id get tired of all the vette guys throwing smug if it was anything else other than a vette. I remember an autox I participated in last summer had a nc miata show up and it was one of the fastest cars all day long. This among z06's my lt4 c4 6 speed and many other ls1 c5's. I loved my vettes but the sloppy shifter, crappy interior quality, and poor fuel economy in town brought me to the honda. Sure I wish it had more low end like my 330hp lt4 had, but I also am an avid rx7 enthusiast so I love revvin her up too!
