[QUOTE=uwimage,Nov 9 2006, 10:26 PM]How about wife makes over 6 figures....this dude works some, when I want to, sleeps late a lot, drinks too much, plays way too many video games, and really doesn't mind shopping a little, turning on the dishwasher or making a dinner or two (as long as it's on a BBQ).

Enjoy your time working...think about me out driving

welp..... that place blows for me.... the same as BJ's and Sam's

we could not find a single thing to buy. 48 6 packs of cheese crackers.... great... more than likely i would eat twice as many as normal and become a bloated pig.....or I would never eat them and they would get stale in my basement....

+1 on supporting your local businesses. However, I think for certain things costco is great. Usually when you buy something at costco, you know its quality merchandise. Also I think they work on a flat 15% margin on everything. They also have the best return policy, but don't abuse it because they keep track. Overall, one of my favorite companies to do business with. Oh, and Costco always has the best meat, PERIOD.

costco works on crazy low markup/margins. And their CEO makes something like 400k a year....thats nothing for a CEO of a company with revenue of OVER $60 BILLION!!

thats a crazy huge number.

great place

For all the guys that want to support their local business. Just exactly how many Mom and Pop Electronics and Groceries are there in your neighborhood? I mean come on, besides a local bodega, I can't imagine supporting a local business for groceries, they don't carry everything which means I still have to go get it from the chain stores. For electronics, it's probably even harder, if you want to pay more from a Mom and Pop retailer that's your perrogative, but be realistic, local businesses aren't really competing with Costco, Target, Walmart.
