And I think the whole child labor thing with NIKE is blown out of proportion. They have gotten much better in recent years.
Is this another really educated guess on your part or do you have some proof to back this up?

During the height of the NIKE/child labor scandal in the late 1990's, NIKE has since gone to the extremes in eliminating child labor from its own and outsourced production facilities. The news of this is over 5 years old so this is all I've found... http://www.freethechildren.org/youthinacti...e_situation.htm

I hate going to these mass market food establishments. I would much rather go to a Mom and Pop establishment which is usually infinitely better and decently priced.

For example, the breakfast here at Chalet's diner has no rival. It is bar none the best in my area (northern NJ). Cracker Barrel, IHOP, etc can't hold a stick to it. Sure it is cheaper at these establishments, but why skimp a measly 10% on food?

Cracker barrel is for the typical drone American consumer. They get brain washed into thinking quantity equals quality and therefore love Cracker Barrel. Anytime I've eaten there, I've fallen sick from the excess fat/grease they use in all of their meals.

Oh and BTW Scott, to me, you have definitely become the "Seinfeld" of the S2ki board. Your posts just crack me up.

Can you name something that is made in China that is well known for being a good quality product? I can't.
dell & ibm computers are made in china.

...Cracker barrel's food isnt too bad. the atmoshpere is gross though. its the typical american family of 4 that weigh about 200-300 pounds a piece. you can get a 6-egg omlett and crap like that. they literally serve you 16 ounces of gravy with your breakfast...its really gross. i like their biscuits though. just get your pound of gravy on the side before you have a heart attack.

I, like many others Cracker Barrel. Yes, they absolutely have some pretty unhealthy food on the menu, but there are also alot of healthy choices. I'd say the same thing for just about any restaurant out there. And I don't judge other people on their weight , although I probably would have been judgemental 10 or 20 years ago when I were younger. We all have flaws. Just MHO.

I've had breakfast there a few times, and liked it. My usual breakfast is a bowl of cereal, so one of their meals keeps me going until evening.

We have one a few miles from our house, and my Dad wanted to eat there when he was visiting. It was Sunday morning, and there was a 90-minute wait for a table. No thanks!
