Come on. Everyone knows Al Gore invented the Internet.

 

I didn't get to read all of this thread, but Brown's historical research leaves a lot to be desired from what I've heard. Small things like getting the dates wrong and the fact that the Dead Sea Scrolls had nothing to do with Christianity (it was about a Jewish community), etc, etc, makes me believe they were done on purpose. Plus, an opening intro maintaining that his scholarship is correct fools the reader into the mindset that they are reading the truth. I don't even have to get into apologetics, some of his "facts" are wrong.
