Default DAMN!!! m3 stolen.

F*CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to come to work early this morning at about 6AM. Where I work isn't exactly loacted in the best areas of Miami. A lot of car vandalism and theft has taken place in the employee parking lot over the years. We have beefed up security by hiring rent-a-cops but its still been a problem, especially at nights. Since I work during the day and had an assigned space in the executive section, I wasn't too concerned that it would happen to me.

About an hour and a half ago at about 7:30AM my time, a friend asked me if my girlfriend took me to work because parking space is empty...

Ran downstairs and no car. Already called the police and met with them and just got off the phone with my insurance agent at Allstate.

I don't know if I'm more pissed that my car is gone or at the cheap owners of my company for locating a multi-million dollar computer company in some damn "ghetto" infested mall in Miami. Nevertheless, he is about to get a long email about the extreme lack of security and protection of our (all employees) vehicles.

Sorry for my rant...

Feel for you man.
I also had my modified S2000 stolen a month ago from a gated garage.
I am still pissed off by that now from time to time.

But look into the good way(my friend told me), you can buy another car now.
Those people don't understand if you love your old car you don't want to change it.
It sucks that for family reason I had to replace my S2000 with a 325Ci convertible with
4 SEATS.

Time for you to upgrade to a M5.

hopefully the thieves totals the car, because if they dont, the cops will just return it to you.

no good, because if it's totaled you'd only get bluebook for it which no doubt is much less than what you spent.

I've got lojack awaiting installation when I get my bimmer.

good luck Mav!

So you did or did not get the necessary anti-theft acessories for your car knowing the history of your work area? I feel sorry this had happened to you and hope you do get your car back soon either from the cops or the insurance company replacing it. Powerlock, Lo-jack is strongly suggested on your S or your M if you should recover it. Good luck.

Here in Montreal we have a company named Boomerang that installs something in your car and when it's stolen the "thing" appears on their search "radar" then they follow it and recover your car. That's why they call it Boomerang. Hope they get it to the US cuz it's a really great protection device.
