Default Damn Sprint...

It has only been like 2 days since I activated my phone and I'm already experiencing problems. First, it took little over 24 hours after I activated my phone for it to receive service. Then, I just found out that they added some $10 service which I didnt even know about. So I called them and after being put on hold for ONLY 30-40 minutes I get things straightened out. They added yet another service that costs additional $4 and I dont know what the hell it is. I have to call back again for that because their system was down or something. Oh well, I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on my account. Other than that, calls are pretty clear....I guess. What are your experience with Sprint PCS?? Just wandering....

wow, my experience has been really good, everything I chose I got, and the services I didnt' choose I didn't get. The only thing that bugs me is the bill people. I forgot to pay last month, and now they've been hounding me like the mob to get their money. They kept calling me, paging me, etc. On top of that they owe me $100 for a mail in rebate.

I've never experienced this kind of hassling. Now I know what it feels like to be in debt with creditors tryin to get their money.

the $10 service fee (free weekends or free long distance or free internet) is a monthly charge that they deduct if you have an annual service contract. if you don't the fee stays. look at your bill: credits and promotions.

as for the $4 fee....it's probably some kind of insurance or motor vehicle help service. you can call them to cancel it. from your cell phone call *2.

hope this helps.

Im really torn about Sprint right now...
There are alot of hidden charges, alot of areas I dont reception (I have a samsung N200)
and the thing doesnt do text MSGing or download ringers or any of the other bells and whistels...
I also many times, get instant voice mails (my phone dosent ring)
I get all of these web alerts, which they want me to pay to check.

I was thinking of switching to AT&T when my year account is up.
