Default Does your cell provider offer good service?

I have verizon wireless and they suck! Every month I have to dispute the phone bill. On top of that they just added another year of service without telling me. It was fully legal but very sneaky, they sent me a bill and in very small print offered the service followed by the sentence if you don't want the service you have to respond to them. Now it costs $275 to end it early.

I've got AT&T and have never had a problem with them except for one time when I lost my phone and reported it lost/stolen. When I found it and tried to hook it back up I had to jump through hoops, but I suppose that's for my protection. I've had them for about 4 years now and am still happy with them.

Before I had PrimeCo and they were awful. Like you're experiencing now, I always had disputes about my bill and talked to customer service almost weekly. mybe they are better now, but I'll never go back to them no matter what.

The truth about cellular service is.... drum roll please...

they all suck.

I use Verizon now and (knock on wood) haven't had anything but good experiences. Others aren't as lucky. I know from personal experience that AT&T is terrible in S. CA but not too bad in N. CA. Sprint is crap. And so on and so on.

A lot depends on finding the right provider for where you live and what your needs are.

But customer service and celluar service are mutually exclusive items.

I have At&T Wireless (GSM) in Oregon. They are CRAP.

I'm currently investigating the lesser of all the evils so I can switch.

I have cellular one. I'm happy with the service. No major issues.

I haven't had any problems with sprint's customer service, other than them not replacing my out-of-warranty phone that was a piece of crap (understandable but not very endearing).

The cellular service is another story

I've had Sprint for over three years and haven't had any problems. Only time I've traveled and not had service was when I went to San Luis Obispo, CA a few years ago.
