Nope. Depending on who takes the statistics and what they are attempting to prove you can say anything. What is the old saying? 95% of all statistics are made up. Besides, rather than worry about how many innocents the USA may or may not have killed why are you not asking how many of his own people/Israelis/Kurds/and Kuwaitis Saddam has killed with SCUDS, gas and death squads. Let us remember who the bad guy is here.

Sorry boys, gotta close this one down. However, I can't resist getting in the last word. Hussein is a rabid dog, just like Hitler was. Next time you see his biography on the History channel, watch it. It will scare the bejeezus out of you. If even 10% is true, the guy is an absolute sociopath. He's killed hundreds of thousands of his own people, he murders his own family members, and enjoys torturing people by dripping sulfuric acid on them. He needs to be put down for the good of the entire world, not just the US. Debating this lunatic will gain us nothing...TrojanHorse is exactly right. It would rapidly degenerate into a "Yes you do - no we don't" situation. And sure, some civilians will be killed if/when we attack. Many of those will be orchestrated by Hussein himself, as he puts his command bunkers underneath mosques and AAA positions on top of hospitals. But once the shooting stops, the Iraqi nation and its people will be immensely better off as the sanctions end and money comes flooding into the nation along with the rebuilders (not to mention the fact that they won't have to worry about getting dragged away in the night and shot).

And on that note, this thread is history...
