Jeff, that is so nice of you ... But I don't want to trouble you at this stage so we'll just leave that as a last option if it's not too much of a trouble later down the road, at this stage I'm wondering if some US online store might sell 3M gear ... That's what my question was pointing to anyway.

And everytime when I think about that, I would always have great emphasis on buying everything possible that is imported because I ain't keeping anything locally for some redneck ... Stupid economic strategy, no wonder the south-east Asians are doing so much better. Last time I checked, the Australian dollar is weaker than the Singapore dollar. Oh absolutely pathetic!

How about you piss off back to the land of the perpetual recession?

For starters, you haven't got a clue what you are talking about. We have some of the lowest import taxes and subsidies in the world. Perhaps you would like to try to export rice to Japan, then you'll find out about protectionism.

Perhaps you would like to keep on topic? The title of this thread is not "Let's all bash Australia". You are rapidly making enemies on this board Takashi. The insulting tone of your post is bad enough even without you being so demonstrably factually incorrect. We could argue all day about this but your point is completely hypocritical. One of the main Japanese trade tactics has always been protectionism. You're the world experts at it, and this includes cars. Go look up the numbers. You can start with rice import tax >450%. And as for your dramatic economic success go try telling that to the increasing numbers of homeless, those whose job security is nonexistant and anyone who works in the banking industry. Deflation means that nobody wants to buy anything they can get cheaper next year. Millions of ordinary people have lost money in share and property market crashes. Your whole public sector is close to collapse with debts exceeding 150% GDP. You forget that I have lived in Japan and seen it for myself. Australia on the other hand has the highest economic growth and rate of productivity increase in the OECD. Want to talk about quality of life? It doesn't compare. I suggest that if you really hate Australia that much you 1. Are in the minority of Japanese people I have met, and 2. Should get the **** out of here and leave the rest of us in peace.

Naishou - Wow good to see your patriotism, don't grieve though. Obviously our opinions differ accordingly. At the end of the day, I'm just sick of trying to get what I need with much difficulty and no avail at times. Since we can't keep the conversation constructive while it's gonna be opinion based, we might as well not have one. Sorry to have made you grieved.

Jsw626 - Yes, I'm interested in the privacy screen ... What is the dimensions, and what is condition of the screen? I wouldn't mind buying off you if it's in good condition and you have no use for it.
