I exchange emails with my mom daily and talk to her 1 time per week (usually on the weekend).

I don't email my dad and I talk to him maybe 2 times pere week.

My wife could drop off the earth and her parents wouldn't know it for months or maybe even years. Her old man lives 2 miles from us and has been over 3 times in 9 years.

 

sometimes i feel like it... he's a good guy though, just a little immature.

I talk to my dad most days. Over the last 5 years or so we've become pretty good friends, and back when I did real estate we worked together too. I talk to Mom once a week or so, she bitches that I talk to him and not her.

Thing is, I just shoot the shit with him. I read something funny, I let him know about it. Just told him a bit ago about the JFK and the Otto Von Bismark definititions from the shocker thread on this forum. He laughed his ass off.

 

My parents live an hour away, and until 2 months ago, they lived 10 minutes away.

I talk to them twice a week, my mom is a talkaholic, and when I am in the mood...I am as well.

I used to see them at least once a week when we lived closer together, but now being an hour apart makes it tough.
