my VP at work.. his "kids" (2 recently college grad boys) call EVERY SINGLE DAY at work. often twice a day. wtf? is this normal? i get sick of my mother after 45 sec on the phone. i mean, i love 'em and all, but have no need to speak to 'em more than once a week, at MOST. during college, i went for semesters w/o speaking to 'em....

I'd like to, but they've been dead for over 5 years...for some reason they don't answer the phone.

NOthing wrong with that...pretty cool actually. Shows that they have a very close relationship and probably consider each other friends. Now if they were calling for help daily, well...that's another story.

I don't live that far from home, so I usually go see them once a week or every two weeks. I definitely would not want to talk to them every day though.

i still live at home with my parents and even then i don't talk to them everyday. they're usually at work or at the other end of the house IF i come home...

my boyfriend lives on his own but he still talks to his parent's everyday and stops by their house at least once a week to drop off his dirty laundry, which his mom then washes/folds for him and to pick up his weekly "care package" which usually contains new clothes, deoderant, tooth paste, toilet paper, food, etc. sometimes his mom meets him at the grocery store and buys him groceries and then follows him to the gas station to fill his truck up with gas. it's ridiculous, he's such an effing baby. all this for a 21 year old "kid" with a full time job.

If he's really as bad as you say, you're not a girlfriend, you're a babysitter.
